“Missions” at HVBC is defined as any evangelistic ministry carried out within the context of Acts 1:8, to our Jerusalem (Woodland Park), Judea (Teller County), Samaria (Colorado), and to the ends of the earth.  The purpose of missions is to help fulfill the Great Commission by showing and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in ways that are effective so that lost persons are brought to the point of decision and conversion by repentance and saving faith in Christ alone.  For this purpose we will also endeavor to establish or assist indigenous, Biblically-based churches both here at home and around the world.

HVBC missions is committed to evangelize God’s world through local, national, and international ministries, and to equip God’s people to reach the lost.  We believe God desires the local church to be the primary means for sending people to share the saving message of Jesus Christ with lost persons around the world, as He leads and directs.
