From The Pastor

July 3, 2020

Good morning church family.

I hope you are doing well. These are definitely crazy and uncertain days as we continue to navigate through this coronavirus pandemic. This Sunday we will be moving inside the church and resume our 10:30 a.m. worship service. We will also have life groups meeting at 9:00 a.m. Rick Walton’s class will meet in the fellowship hall and also be on ZOOM. Ray Zeller’s class will meet upstairs in the gym and will be on FaceBook Live. Our children and youth will be meeting upstairs and also doing some activities outside.
On this July 4th weekend we celebrate the Freedom that we have been blessed with in America. We will look at the hymn “My Country ‘Tis of Thee” during the worship service and the story behind the song. We will also celebrate the Lord’s Supper during the service. We will have individual juice/wafer packets available as you come into the sanctuary. Please take one and bring it in with you into the service. If you are using the online option–you can have some juice and a small cracker to participate with us in your home. As a reminder–if you are coming to the church–please wear masks as you enter and leave the building. If you are not feeling well or if you think you may have been in contact with COVID-19, please stay home and use the online option. Please practice safe distancing and wash hands often. We have set up the Sanctuary and the classrooms to keep everyone at a safe distance. Hand sanitizer is located in several areas of the building for you to use. If you have a need–please let us know. If you know of a need–please let us know.Remember–God is sovereign and in control. He is with us and will give us strength and wisdom to navigate through these difficult days. Keep your eyes on Jesus.
